RIDESHARE REAL PROFIT
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
1. Data we collect
Rideshare Real Profit is a tool for rideshare drivers to log trip offers and understand their real profitability. We collect only what the app needs to do that:
- Account information — your name and email address, collected at registration. Your password is handled by Firebase Authentication and is never stored in our database.
- Vehicle fuel efficiency — the MPG value you enter, used to estimate fuel cost per offer.
- Offer records — snapshots of the trip offers shown on your screen: fare, time and distance legs, the calculated fuel cost and hourly rates, provider (Uber or Lyft), and a coarse approximate location.
- Coarse approximate location — a fresh device location captured at the moment of an offer, rounded to a 0.01° grid and stored with an accuracy figure of at least 1500 meters. We never collect pickup or dropoff addresses, passenger names, or raw screen images. If location is missing or older than 120 seconds, it is recorded as unknown.
- Subscription status — whether your Google Play subscription is active, verified through Google's servers. Purchase tokens are stored only in hashed form and are never readable by clients.
- Preferences and consents — your rate-color thresholds, area-analytics consent, and marketing-email consent (optional, never assumed from registration).
2. How we use your data
- To calculate and display gross and net hourly rates for each offer on your device.
- To sync your profile and offer history to your private account so it survives device changes.
- To verify your Google Play subscription and gate live offer detection while expired.
- To produce aggregated, anonymized statistics (rates by hour and area) for the app operator's private dashboard.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
3. Operator access
Your account information (name, email, profile settings) is available to the app operator for administration and support, as explained at registration. The operator's dashboard shows registered drivers, their profiles, and aggregated offer statistics under server-enforced admin authorization. Drivers can only ever access their own data. Billing purchase tokens are never readable by any client, including the admin dashboard.
4. Retention
Your profile and offer history are kept for as long as your account exists, so your history remains available across devices. Anonymized aggregate statistics derived from offers may be retained after account deletion. When you delete your account (see below), your personal data is removed by an audited server workflow.
5. Your deletion rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time:
- In the app: open Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm by typing
DELETE, and confirm your recent sign-in. - By email: write to the support contact below from your registered email address and ask for account deletion.
Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel that separately in the Play Store (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
6. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, contact the app operator at:
TODO: set the operator's support email address before publishing.
